For omelet lovers, the Hoss delivers a flavorful punch with crumbled sausage, bacon, home fries, onions, and peppers smothered in smooth pepper gravy alongside white cheddar grits.
When it comes to lunch and dinner, Puckett’s truly shines with its “low and slow” barbecue offerings. The Puckett’s BBQ Platter—which lets you choose from cherry wood-smoked pulled pork, beef brisket, smoked turkey breast, or half chicken—is served with sweet potato fries, smoky baked beans, and homemade slaw. The Smoked Meatloaf, house-ground and slow-smoked then grilled to perfection and topped with mushroom gravy, offers a comforting, savory experience paired beautifully with mashed potatoes and Southern green beans. For those wanting to indulge in everything, the Whole Farm platter delivers an abundant feast of smoked turkey breast, sausage, brisket, pulled pork, and half chicken, complemented by smoked baked beans, collard greens, and a side of red beans and rice. It’s not just a meal, it’s a true Southern banquet.
Seafood lovers can’t miss the rich and satisfying Shrimp & Grits, while fans of Southern fried classics will revel in the Chicken Fried Chicken or the iconic Chicken Fried Steak. For a taste of Nashville’s signature heat, the Music City Hot Chicken Sandwich delivers a fiery kick that’s balanced by the cool creaminess of sides like coleslaw. Puckett’s doesn’t shy away from indulgence either—the Deep Fried Brownie Sundae with Bacon is a decadent dessert that perfectly marries sweet and savory in one unforgettable bite.

First Dinner in Nashville and we chose Puckett's. We wanted the experience of local foods from a known spot. I chose whole Farm for meal for the both of us. I would call this the "Kit & Kaboodle" This came with smoked turkey breast, smoked sausage, half chicken, beed brisket, cherry wood smoked pulled pork, served with smoked bake beans and collard greens. We added a side of red beans, rice and sausage. She chose a smoked whiskey bloody Mary with a fried chicken drumstick! She really enjoyed that drink. I want to say the smoke sausage was great, and the smoked Turkey breast was really good. All food was really good..I think the half chicken needed to be cooked longer. We arrived late and were only ones ordering food in restaurant. For the place being empty, it did take awhile before a server showed up. We were close to leaving. However once the server arrived, then the service was good.
Delicious bbq! Had to try some non Texas BBQ while in Nashville and it was delicious! My fav was their Texas style BBQ sauce though. Our group of three tried the sampler platter and it was more than enough food!
Just walked in without checking it out first because it looked crowded. We were not disappointed! Fantastic service at the bar. We asked to sit there to watch the football game and the bartender gladly accommodated us. Check out the menu on line as they have a big menu (they serve breakfast until 11a). Huge portions. Very reasonable prices. The Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich was delicious. Not too spicy. Not too sweet. Nicely breaded, crispy but still tender. Coleslaw was good. Large portion of thin fries. The Piggy Mac was amazing. Lots of pulled pork covered with the creamiest macaroni and cheese, topped with two tasty little pancake type biscuits.
Lovely southern food. The appetizer platter is good as well as the entrees. The portion sizes are huge that you can get full easily. Beer selection is good.
Great place for dinner. Nice mix of locals and tourists. Our server was Kelcy, did an amazing job with service and food recommendations. 4 people 4 different meals. All excellent. I had the hot fried chicken. Really one of the best chicken dinners I have had. Crispy, tender and hot.
The combination of smoked brisket, cheesy mac, coleslaw, and sweet potatoes is a masterclass in balance. It’s smoky richness, creamy indulgence, crisp freshness, and earthy sweetness all playing together. It’s the kind of plate that satisfies both the soul and the stomach, leaving you full and happy. It’s a must try in Nashville. Also they suggested their lager that paired perfectly with our meal. It added the just amount of crisp to the drink. The staff were so kind and polite! Great vibe too and plenty of seats to go around.
